Lotions

Lotions are not a one-size-fits-all-all option. Skin varies from one person to another. Some people prefer light lotions with minimal moisturizing, while others want a heavier, almost cream lotion. I make my lotions in small frequent batches to maximize freshness in each batch.

All the lotions are in a base of aloe vera gel, distilled water, or a combination of the two.  I often infuse the oils with herbs such as calendula or chamomile to add additional conditioning and herbal skin benefits to help with moisturizing. The lotions will sink into your skin. You will find that a small amount of handmade herbal lotion goes a long way.
